China A ‘Pacing Challenge’— Secretary Austin Signs Classified Document To Tackle Dragon

China is pacing global threat not only to India or South China Sea nations but to the world super power America too. Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III issued an internal directive on June 09th to laser-focus Department of Defense efforts to address China as the nation’s number one pacing challenge. Meanwhile, US Senate also approved a bipartisan, $250 billion bill boosting government spending on technology research and development amid rising competition from China and other nations. The bill passed 68-32 vote.
