Akash Ganga aerobatics team paratrooper hard landing results into minor injuries

A paratroopers of the Aakash Ganga Aerobatics team of Indian Air Force (IAF) displaying aerobatics at Swarnim Park Gandhinagar had a hard landing.

The canopy collapsed at low level due wind sheer resulting in a high rate of descent in the terminal phase of flight.

The paratrooper suffered a sprain in the leg due to the heavy impact on the ground, was immediately attended to and evacuated by the paramedics of the IAF present at the venue. 


He is out of danger with no serious damage of concern.
