The police recovered the dead body of Irfan Ahmad Dar soon after information that the army man was lying in pool of blood inside Wothmula Nad area of Keegam. Investigations are on while more details awaited.
Irfan Ahmad Dar was on 17 days leave from 10 to 26 November and was visiting his aunt’s place. Body was found in an orchard in Wothmula, Shopian. He was serving in 175 TA (Engineers) posted at Gurez. He was embodied in Territorial Army on 22 July 2015.
The rank of the deceased soldier is said to be sepoy.
