ICGS Samudra Prahari Saves 14 Lives In A Daring Rescue Op

Indian Coast Guard (ICG) saves fishing boat Seagull with 14 crew 137 miles from Bombay. The boat was adrift since last 10 days. Indian Coast Gauard’s Dornier located it and ICG ship Smudra Prahari sailed from Mumbai on 18 September 2017. Braving very rough seas it towed the boat and crew safely to Mumbai from approximatelu 100 miles and handed over to fisheries department to date 20 September 2017.
