“In a war of perception, the truth always prevails. That is our tradition”, said Arun Jaitley, finance minister of India while addressing a joint press conference with Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman post Supreme Court verdict on Rafale deal. Earlier, Supreme Court dismissed all PILs in Rafale deal today.
He categorically stated that disruptors have lost on all counts. “The deaf will never hear an answer”, said Jaitley. The deals like Rafale cannot be reviewed in a body of partisan divisions, it can only be done in a court of law, he added.
“All the figures by the government are correct and all the figures by Mr Rahul Gandhi are false and I have justified it… The truth has only one version and falsehood has many. That is why Mr Rahul Gandhi quoted several figures”.
“Rafale deal has protected both security and commercial interests of India. Allegations on Rafale was fiction writing that was ompromising national security.
Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the procurement process of 110 fighter jet will go on according to the set process for which RFI is already out.
