In this republic day parade Indian Navy is going to showcase Indigenous Aircraft Carrier Vikrant. IAC Vikrant is currently under construction and will be delivered by October 2020.Along with this main tableau, an arm holding a commando knife in sea along with marine commandos is also depicted to represent Indian Navy’s theme – A Combat Ready Force for National Security.
This year’s marching contingent is led by Lieutenant Tushar Gautam and three lady officers who are platoon commanders. This republic day parade will be the last for iconic Honorary Lieutenant Ramesh Chand, who is leading the Indian Navy’s band for 20th year consecutively on Rajpath.
