Pakistan Army initiated unprovoked firing on Indian Army posts in Naushera sector in the early hours today.
Indian Army retaliated strongly and effectively.
However, in the exchange of fire, Sep Jagsir Singh was grievously injured and succumbed to his injuries.
Sep Jagsir Singh, aged 32 years, belonged to Village Lohgarh Thakhran Wala, District Firozepur, Punjab and is survived by his wife Smt Mohinder Pall Kaur, two daughters and one son.
Sep Jagsir Singh was a brave and sincere soldier. The nation will always remain indebted to him for the supreme sacrifice and devotion to duty.
