On this Republic Day, 10 heads of ASEAN countries are participating as chief guests. The heads of ASEAN are from Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos and Brunei.
Raksha Mantri Nirmala Sitharaman says that participation of ASEAN leaders vindicates Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Look East turned Act East Policy.
The size of the dias has been increased this time to accommodate the guests and adequate security measures are being put in place.
Two tableau from ASEAN countries are also being displayed in the RD Parade.
So this republic day parade shows India’s might, pride and resolve to build a republic, which is not only friendly to its neighbors but committed towards shared values, common interests with shared destiny. You can watch Republic Day Parade live on National Defence on 26th January. Jaihind.
