Urging the youngsters to gain knowledge about the country’s brave men and women, he said, “We are immensely proud of our armed forces. In that spirit, we should seek to know more about the brave individuals who are serving the nation…There are several police personnel who have given their lives for our nation, it is important to know about their sacrifices.”
PM Narendra Modi was interacting with with NCC Cadets, NSS Volunteers and Tableaux Artists today in New Delhi. The PM said that India was a diverse land there was much to learn from one another. Adding further, the PM remarked, “It is important to embrace changes happening around us. Blind faith is not proper.”
PM Modi said that youth could bring big changes to the nation.
The PM called upon the youngsters to become active participants of cleanliness drive and help the country become free from dirt and filth when we mark 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
PM Modi also said that India was fortunate to host leaders from 10 nations as the guests of honour this year for the Republic Day celebrations.
