Indian Army releases movie ‘Satat Milap’ on Garhwal Rifles, which is completing 130 years on 1st October this year. In February 2012, Indian Army started a project “Satat Milap” meaning forever in touch with the ex-servicemen. The program highlights brotherhood and compassion among soldiers serving in Garhwal Regimental Centre. Satat Milap team is led by a lieutenant Colonel rank officer, and includes a JCO and GD soldier. The Satat Milap team visits different parts of Garhwal region divided in 21 parts. The data of grievances collected from ex-servicemen is worked upon and help is rendered to ex-servicemen and their families accordingly. The program has not only reduced the litigation but also helped war windows.
