Flying Officer Avani Chaturvedi made history by flying MiG-21 Fighter Jet solo for 30 minutes. Her feat paves way for other women to become fighter pilots in Indian Air Force. There are two other women fighter pilots of her first batch, who will soon follow the suit. Two other women pilots in second batch are also undergoing training to become fighter pilots. Avani Chaturvedi has just motivated and arose the aspirations in thousands of young girls in India to venture into most adventurous and dangerous domain which until now was exclusively dominated by male counterpart.
