Our bravehearts take risks in performing their duty towards our great nation. They even sacrifice their lives to protect motherland. There are very few occasions when they showcase their skills. Sometimes, accidents do happen. One such accident happened during the rehearsal for Army Day parade in New Delhi. Two Indian Army soldiers accidentally fell off the chopper while performing slithering operation rehearsal.

The injured soldiers were rushed to the nearby hospital and are undergoing treatment. According to Indian Army sources the incident occurred on 09th January due to helicopter boom malfunction. There are no serious injuries to any of the three soldiers.

Army Day is organised every year on 15 January in honour of Field Marshal KM Cariappa who taken over the command of Indian Army as the first Indian commander in chief from Britishers on 15th January 1949.

The soldiers were participating in the rehearsals when the rope they were holding on to from the helicopter detached. The Jawans were coming down from the helicopter with the support of the rope but as the rope detached, they fell on the ground. The accident was caught on camera. Indian Army has ordered an inquiry into the incident and investigations are currently in progress.

Lets pray these brave soldiers get well soon and enthral you on Army day with their amazing performance.
