US President Donald Trump Mocks At ‘Friend’ Modi & Undermines Indian Efforts In Afghanistan

National Defence Bureau,
New Delhi, 03 January 2019

In an unfortunate development, President of United States of America, Donald Trump, who termed PM Modi a ‘friend’ on more than one occassion, mocked at him in the first cabinet meeting of the year 2019 and first ever attended by newly appointed US Secretary of Defense, Patrick Shanahan. Trump made a jibe on PM Modi by saying that Modi bragged about buildinig a library in Afghanistan in a meeting for 5 hours and joked he wondered as who would even use library in Afghanistan. Seems Donald Trump misread the situation and should understand India deploys troops only under UN Missions for peacekeeping. Unlike US, India does not send soldiers overseas for military operations. Watch him speak and do write in comment box what you think about Donald Trump making such a statement.
