Indian Army today paid last tributes to Naik Mudassar Ahmed, who was martyred on the Line of Control (LoC) in BG sector on 17 July 17 while responding valiantly to unprovoked firing by Pakistan at the Line of Control (LoC).
Wreath laying ceremonies were organised at Rajouri where wreaths on behalf of GOC-in-C Northern Command, GOC 16 Corps and all ranks by GOC 25 Division.
The mortal remains of the soldier were then sent to his native village for performing the last rites. Naik Mudassar Ahmed was a native of Village Duchoo, Tehsil Tral, District Pulwama (J&K) and is survived by his wife and two Children.
