CAC COMMANDERS’ CONFERENCE CONCLUDES

The Station Commanders’ Conference of Central Air Command which commenced on 21 Dec 17, concluded on 22 Dec 17 after fruitful deliberations over two days.

Expressing his satisfaction over the operational capabilities and preparedness of all stations, Air Marshal SBP Sinha Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Central Air Command exhorted the commanders to adopt a pro-active approach so as to keep the operational preparedness of the IAF and also of the Central Air Command at an optimum level.

AOC-in-C emphasized the need to improve the quality of life in terms of healthy and smart working environment, better standards of living with clean and green surroundings and campus.

The AOC-in-C Central Air Command gave away various trophies to the stations for outstanding performance and achieving the key result areas. Air Force Station Gwalior was awarded the trophy for being best in Operations, whereas Air Force Station Agra was adjudged best in “Maintenance” and “Administration”.

On the sidelines of the conference, Alpana Sinha also presided over a meeting of Executive Committee of Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Regional) and Presidents of AFWWA (Local) of the stations under Central Air Command. Sinha reviewed the performance of various activities being run by the AFWWA (Local) for the benefit of sanginis and provided guidance.
