Why should Defence Minister Rajnath Singh Not Resign After He Got Caught Making False Statement in Parliament?
“If you want to ask any question then you should ask whther our brave soldiers suffered any casuality? Then the answer for that question is “NO”.
The person speaking on the sacred floor of Indian Parliament is none other than the Indian defense minister Rajnath Singh.
Has Defence minister Rajnath Singh lied in Indian Parliament on Operation Sindoor? Did he misled the lower house of Indian Parliament when he made the statement on Operation Sindoor on 28th July last year nearly two and half months after Operation Sindoor?
Why should Defence Minister Rajnath Singh not resign from the coveted post as he apprarently belied the martyrdom of brave 6 Indian soldiers who made supreme sacrifice in Operation Sindoor.

Rajnath Singh’s white lies exposed when Op Sindoor martyrs’ names were mentioned in roll of honour at National War memorial.
Nearly 14 months after Operation Sindoor, Modi Government has acknowledged that there were 6 Indian military casualties after it inscribed the names of martyrs on 3D wall of Tyag Chakra at National War Memorial. Two of the martyrs are already awarded.

The martyred personnel include Rifleman Sunil Kumar, Vir Chakra, of 4 Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry, Subedar Major Pawan Kumar of Headquarters 10 Infantry Brigade, Lance Naik Dinesh Kumar of 5 Field Regiment, Aviation Technician Mood Muralinaik of 851 Light Regiment, Havildar Sunil Kumar Singh of 237 Field Workshop Company, and Sergeant Surendra Kumar, Vayu Sena Medal, of 39 Wing.
Your channel National Defence reported 16 Indians civilians death and injuries to over 45 civilians in retaliatory cross firing by Pakistan after the launch of Operation Sindoor on 7th and 8th May 2025 night citing Government and military sources.
A question to Government of India including Ministry of Defense on military and civilian casualties has not been yet responded as why did Modi Government kept martyrdom of 6 bravehearts a secret. National Defence will update if an official response is recieved.
Operation Sindoor was launched to avenge the deaths of 26 civilians that included 25 Indian nationals and 1 Nepali in terror attack on 22nd April 2025 in Kashmir’s Pahalgam valley. A muslim Pony operator, Syed Adil Hussain Shah, a 28 year old horseman from Anantnag district also lost his life in the attack perpetrated by Pakistani terrorists on religious lines after a provocative speech by the then Army Chief of Pakistan, General Asim Munir, who later became Field Marshal.
Indian Government says mission objectives were achieved that is why Operation Sindoor was halted however Government claried that Operation Sindoor is not stopped permanently; rather it is continuing however paused. Logic given was that any misadventure by Pakistan will naturally invoke Operation Sindoor 2.0.
Modi Government came under attack by opposition for being late in declaring the ceasefire meanwhile US President Trump claimed over 200 times in last 14 months to have stopped India Pakistan potential nuclear war. Indian Government and military maintained that it was Pakistan’s DGMO that requested to halt the offensive after which India agreed for a ceasefire.
Pakisan however, never acknowledged that ceasefire was requested by Pakistan. Now one may be wondering why Indian military leadership kept quiet for so long?
Was it not dishonour to the soldiers and injustice to their families? So there is no official response from Indian armed forces so far but lets assume that they are hostage to law that binds them from disclosing any classified information.
In India Government or ministry or any department may declare a particular piece of information to be secret. Who can classify information? According to the Government’s security instructions— ‘Top Secret’ is generally approved by an officer of Joint Secretary rank or above. ‘Secret’ is generally approved by an officer of Deputy Secretary rank or above. and an information become ‘Confidential’ when approved by an officer of Under Secretary rank or above. So obviously Defence Minister Rajnath Singh sits above all these officials.
What is your opinion about Defence Minister Rajnath Singh holding martyrdom of 6 bravehearts as secret and not disclosing even on the floor of sacred house of Parliament?
Should Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh resign or Should Prime Minister Modi replace him over this crucial issue of national security as it directly impinges on the morale of Indian armed forces. This is Indian Democracy not a Chinese dictatorship! Isn’t it?
Statement on misrepresentation of Raksha Mantri’s Parliamentary address of July 28, 2025
27 JUN 2026 6:00PM by PIB Delhi
Certain posts circulating on social media platforms have sought to misrepresent the Raksha Mantri’s address delivered on the floor of Parliament on July 28, 2025. These posts have selectively quoted an isolated portion of the speech to falsely imply that the Raksha Mantri claimed that no Indian soldier lost his life during Operation Sindoor. These are deliberately misleading and factually incorrect.
Those who have sought to construct a controversy out of Raksha Mantri’s Parliamentary address have done so by deliberately ignoring the full context of his remarks. It must be recalled that at the time of the Raksha Mantri’s address, a particularly persistent and dominant narrative had taken hold, both in certain sections of the media and on social media, which claimed that Indian pilots had been lost during Operation Sindoor. This narrative was entirely false, yet it was being amplified aggressively with the clear intent of diminishing the success of the operation and demoralising public sentiment. It was in direct reference to this specific and mischievous narrative that the Raksha Mantri made the statement in question. His remarks were, therefore, a targeted and contextually specific response to a falsehood that was gaining dangerous traction at that moment.
It is also important to place the Raksha Mantri’s address in its full and proper context. His statement in Parliament was, in its entirety, a proud and accurate account of the remarkable success of Operation Sindoor, an operation in which the Indian Defence Forces demonstrated unmatched precision, resolve, and military professionalism. During the operation, more than 100 terrorists and Pakistani soldiers were neutralised, as also Pakistani Air Bases and deployment along Line of Control suffered extensive and significant infrastructure damage. The address was a fitting tribute to the courage and capability of the Indian Defence Forces, and a clear message to those who wish India harm.
The Raksha Mantri and the Government of India remain steadfast in their respect, gratitude, and reverence for every member of the Indian Defence Forces, and above all, for those who have laid down their lives in the defence of the nation. Their sacrifice is the highest form of service to the Motherland, and it will always be honoured with the dignity, pride, and solemnity it deserves.
It is in recognition of their supreme sacrifice that the Government has ensured that their names are inscribed on the walls of the National War Memorial. The Government has taken all necessary steps to provide concessions in education, health and other facilities to the family/dependents of the bravehearts.

SECOND UPDATE FROM MOD/ GOI:
Honouring the bravehearts
प्रविष्टि तिथि: 27 JUN 2026 7:47PM by PIB Delhi
Certain reports circulating in sections of the media and on social media platforms have incorrectly suggested that the supreme sacrifice of six bravehearts during Operation Sindoor have been acknowledged or brought to public notice for the first time only recently. It is clarified that the nation paid homage to these fallen heroes at the earliest opportunity, well before the reports in question. During the official press conference held on May 11, 2025, then Director General of Military Operations paid solemn tribute to these brave soldiers and specifically acknowledged their sacrifice in the line of duty during Operation Sindoor. These bravehearts were conferred with gallantry awards and this was published in the press release of August 14, 2025. This constituted a formal and national recognition of their valour and supreme sacrifice in keeping with the highest traditions of the Indian Defence Forces.
Simultaneously, the Indian Army’s official social media platforms carried tributes to these bravehearts without delay.
The nation’s recognition of these heroes has continued thereafter. During the Army Day Parade held at Jaipur on January 15, 2026, the Chief of the Army Staff presented the Sena Medal (Gallantry) to the families of three of these gallant soldiers, while the Chief of the Air Staff did the same on October 08, 2025 in a solemn ceremony, reaffirming the Defence Forces’ enduring commitment to honouring those who have laid down their lives in the service of the nation.
With regard to the engraving of the names of the fallen soldiers on the National War Memorial, it is emphasised that this sacred process is governed by an established and well-defined protocol. The Defence Forces follow these laid-down procedures with due diligence, care and reverence, commensurate with the solemnity of the honour being conferred. Any suggestion that due process was not followed is factually incorrect.
It is regrettable that an avoidable and unfounded controversy has arisen around this issue. Such narratives not only misrepresent facts but also risk causing unnecessary anguish to bereaved families and detracting from the dignity owed to those who made the supreme sacrifice in service of the nation. All stakeholders are urged to exercise responsibility and restraint while reporting on matters relating to fallen soldiers and to refrain from disseminating unverified information.
The Indian Defence Forces remains steadfast in its commitment to honouring every soldier who has offered supreme sacrifice in the defence of the nation. The six bravehearts of Operation Sindoor are national heroes whose courage, devotion to duty and sacrifice will continue to inspire generations of Indians. Their memory shall always be honoured with the dignity, gratitude and reverence it deserves.
