Army Chief General MM Naravane says India entered into understanding with Pakistan to hold ceasefire at Line of Control in February. The ceasefire as of now is holding, the responsibility or onus to ensure this ceasefire holds is squarely on Pakistan. India is willing to observe ceasefire as long as they do. CoAS Gen Naravane, who was on a two day visit to Kashmir to review security situation said, “Trust is very difficult thing to come by and it takes a very long time to develop and there have been decades of mistrust between Pakistan and India and obviously the situation on that score can not change overnight.”
