Contrary to Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri’s statement posted on ‘X’  by DD News with a Video statement, President Trump for 15th time claims he stopped the war between nuclear India and Pakistan. “I love Pakistan. Modi is a fantastic man. I spoke to him last night. We gonna made a trade deal with Modi of India”, Trump said while replying to a reporter’s question seeking President Trump’s reaction on his meeting with Pakistan Army Chief General (now Field Marshal) Asim Munir.

 

“This man (Gen Asim Munir) was extremely influential in stopping from Pakistani side. Modi from the India side.. and others”. U.S. President Trump asked reporters if anyone has written story on that? He was in complaint mood that people not reporting the story.

 

Your channel / Website “National Defence” was the first to highlight President Trump’s statement that subsequently raised political storm in India.

 

 

It has been a consistent policy of India to not allow any one to mediate in bilateral issues including on Kashmir.

India’s Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri made a video that was seemingly first posted by India’s national broadcaster DD News with a summery text-

 

“Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri announced that announced that Prime Minister @narendramodi had a telephonic conversation with US President #DonaldTrump, which lasted approximately 35 minutes. During the discussion, PM Modi briefed President Trump about Operation Sindoor. PM Modi clarified that no topics related to trade were discussed in connection with Operation Sindoor. He also reiterated that India has never accepted third-party mediation and will not accept such mediation in the future. Furthermore, PM Modi emphasized that India will now treat acts of terrorism not as proxy actions but as acts of war. President Trump invited PM Modi to meet during his current visit to the USA, but due to a pre-existing schedule, PM Modi was unable to accept the invitation. Both leaders agreed to meet in the near future”.

 

 

India’s main opposition party Indian National Congress has been raising the issue asking why Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not rebutted President Trump if there was no outside mediation between India and Pakistan for the ceasefire in the wake of Operation Sindoor. The spokesperson reportedly asked why wasn’t that statement coming from President Trump. Contrary, now President Donald Trump once again stands by his own statement that following what was claimed by FS Vikram Misri quoting the 35 minute long telephonic conversation between PM Modi and President Trump on 17th June.
