A massive twin earthquake has hit Venezuela. The intensity of earthquake was 7.5 magniture on Richter scale and the epicenter of earthquake reported at 28 km South East of of Yumare in Venezuela at a depth of 10 Km. The earthquake tremor were felt at 22:05 UTC on 24th June. According to US Geological Survey the exact coordinates of earthquake are 10.435°N 68.472°W. Many buildings have collapsed and casualties are feared to be high.
USGS says there is a chance of more than 10,000 deaths, though official casualty tolls have been slow to come in. Three people are reported dead in Caracas. Venezuelan Government has declared an emergency.

US President Donald Trump says there could be a ‘devastating number of deaths’
Trump offers help to the South American country where the US military toppled longtime leader Nicolas Maduro in January.
The USGS has updated its modelling of the potential death toll from the earthquakes, lowering the likelihood of the two worst-case scenarios but still pointing to a 39% chance of deaths of between 1,000 and 10,000.
The same model projects a 37% likelihood of between 10,000 and 100,000 deaths.
Earlier, the modelling had shown a 30% chance of the death toll exceeding 100,000, and 44% of it being between 10,000 and 100,000.
The USGS says the estimated economic losses are equivalent to 1% to 4% of Venezuela’s GDP.
The projections come from the USGS PAGER system, which stands for Prompt Assessment of Global Earthquakes for Response.
PAGER is an automated system that first uses seismic data to estimate the scope and impact of a quake.
Then, using details of the population exposed to each intensity level of shaking, it uses country-specific models based on data from past earthquakes to make its estimates of fatalities and economic impact.
So far, the official death toll has been slow to emerge.
